Mother of Pearl Stud Earrings
Tarnishing (also known as oxidation) is a result of oxygen or other substances coming into contact with sterling silver. Tarnished silver is duller and sometimes a dark colour. You can avoid tarnishing by wearing your jewellery often; the natural oils in your skin will actually help protect and clean the silver. However, there are certain activities that can cause your jewellery to lose its lustre quickly and can also have a detrimental effect on the adhesive used in making gemstone studs; therefore it is important that you remove your Sterling Silver stud earrings before doing any of the following:
- Working Out
- Applying hairspray or other hair products, perfume or aftershave
- Putting on lotion and makeup
Please do not apply pressure directly to the stone or crystal when removing stud earrings. Instead, support the silver cup holding the stone or crystal using your thumb and forefinger (fingernails work best!), and with your other hand remove the scroll back.
Cancellation or amendment of order:
Please let me know as soon as possible (and prior to despatch notification) if you wish to cancel or amend your order. I try to send all non-customised orders same or next day, so you need to be quick!
For hygiene reasons earrings cannot be returned unless damaged or defective on arrival. In the event of this happening, proof of damage/defect will be requested prior to a refund being issued – photos are usually sufficient.
Conditions of return:
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to damage/defect. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
